UGG was originally founded in Australia by a young surfer in 1978, who took the UGG® boots brand overseas to the United States where it found a new home amongst California surfers. By 1998 the brand had grown significantly and had become a fashion must have. The product line included two well know UGG Boots (Classic Tall, Classic Short), four slippers and a few casuals. UGG boots are now known worldwide and is one of the most wanted brands. With new additions every season the Ugg product line now includes: UGG Classic Tall, UGG Classic Short, Baily Button, Classic Cardy, Kensington and an extensive range of accessories.
The use of the ultra-soft sheepskin and suede blended with on trend designs ensures that all the designer shoes are comfortable and stylish. It is this combination that was responsible for an entirely new category of footwear when the brand was named ‘brand of the year’ by Footwear News. Many celebrities have been following the UGG trend such as Britney Spears, Cindy Crawford, Eva Longoria and Kate Middleton which has made the brand more popular with the public.
UGG Footwear has also produced a fantastic range for their men’s shoe collection which includes, the “Driskill” boot in black leather, the “Griffiths” trainer and the “Bennison” flip flop.
